Art @ LEW - "The View From Here"

'Having our wings clipped by the events of the past 18 months, the journey for this Exhibition has in many ways been a “View from Here”.  Relying on memories and easily accessible sites for landscapes and gardens for much of my inspiration and ideas.  Just as every day starts with colour – a day can be blue and sunny or dreary and grey – there is always an emotional effect.  My paintings are representational leading into abstract with a strong focus on colour “The View from Here” is an eclectic mix of acrylic paintings of some of my favourite places in South Australia.
